Our story
Founded in 2018, built around the student
Hannah, Louise and Hollie founded Dance 2 Enhance Academy in 2018 to run the kind of school they wished they had grown up with: serious about technique, generous about who gets to dance, and honest about what performance feels like.
Seven years on, the Academy runs more than 40 classes a week from our two purpose-built studios in Rainham. We teach Baby Ballet from age one all the way to adult classes, across eight dance styles and musical theatre. Students sit ISTD graded exams in Ballet and Tap when they are ready, and our competition squads travel to events across the region.
The aim is not to make every child a professional dancer. It is to make sure every child who walks through the door leaves with better technique, more confidence, and a community they want to come back to.

What we stand for
Technique that travels
ISTD-trained teaching in Ballet and Tap, with graded examinations for dancers who want them. The foundations hold up wherever a student goes next.
Confidence on stage
Every student aged 3 and up performs in our annual show at the Glassbox Theatre. Competition squads take that further across six to eight regional and national events a year.
A real community
Parents, siblings, and dancers see each other week after week. The viewing gallery, the corridor before pick-up, the group chats around performances, that is the academy.

Principal & Founder
Founded D2E Academy in 2018. Fully qualified in Dance, Acro and ISTD exams. Oversees the full programme and teaches Tuesday acro classes, the younger dance classes on Saturday, and the Lyrical Competition Squads. Also offers private lessons for competitions.

Fully qualified in Musical Theatre. Leads Saturday Musical Theatre classes from Mini Juniors up to our Elite competition squads. Also offers private singing lessons for competitive and non competitive students.
